Sustainability is more than just a word for us. We strive to give back to nature what we take from it. How? Take a look at three stories that prove it.

At POINT CZ printing house, we connect responsible production with ecological activities across various sectors. Whether it’s industrial printing, calendar production, or packaging manufacturing, we constantly seek ways to minimize our environmental impact. From supporting green projects and taking care of the landscape around our production site to participating in the international CDP program, sustainability is at the heart of what we do.

Trees Instead of Words

In March of this year, together with the Konica Minolta team—our technology supplier—and other printers, we headed to the Vysočina region to plant a forest. It was a beautiful demonstration of how printers from all over the country—essentially competitors in the field—came together, grabbed saplings and shovels, and collectively created a new piece of nature.

Together, we planted 1,200 young trees—oaks, lindens, cherry trees, and larches. As printers, we have a deep connection to trees—without them, we wouldn’t have anything to print on. We are grateful to our partner Konica Minolta and the fantastic project "Sázíme Česko" for allowing us to be part of such a meaningful initiative.

New Life in Medlov

We didn’t celebrate the 30th anniversary of our printing house at the end of 2023 with champagne—we celebrated it with greenery. Together with the township of Medlov, we transformed 300 m² of barren land into a blooming garden filled with perennials, shrubs, and trees.

We collaborated with Fajn Zahrada, a landscaping company that designed the planting to ensure the plants would not only survive but thrive in the local environment. Alongside roses, lavender, sage, spiraea, daffodils, and tulips, we also planted serviceberries—beautiful trees that bear edible fruit.

The township of Medlov took care of the land preparation, while we invested in the plants and the overall concept. But it doesn’t stop there—the township has taken over the project and continues to care for and water the greenery to ensure it flourishes for years to come.

CDP Classification – B Rating

When it comes to sustainability, we don’t rely on empty promises—we deliver results. This year, we achieved a B rating in the prestigious CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) program, which evaluates companies’ environmental impact. For us, this is not just an award—it’s a commitment. We continuously innovate and push sustainability in industrial printing, digital printing, calendar production, and packaging to the next level.
